Release on 1st Anniversary of MalaysiaTraining.net:
Internet Marketing for Training Providers
2.0
“A meticulously designed business ecosystem that balances the needs of 3 business parties in an optimum and synergetic way: Training Consumers, Training Providers, and us.”
By ▪ Date: 11.11.2012
irst of all, happy 1st anniversary to MalaysiaTraining! Yes, MalaysiaTraining.net is 1 year old now, but her social and business experiences are as old as myself. The only thing that she needs is time, to accomplish what she wanted to accomplish, with her passion and philosophy in life. Although in this one year, the only tougher challenge that she faced is to prevent herself from getting a member that is out of her expectation, majority of her existing members are very well cooperative and professional. Here, we're not only feeling happy for her but we're also feeling happy for all our site visitors because without being able to find a 'well-trained training provider', not only they could not find themselves a right training program, they may need to get themselves confronted with a training vendor that hard to deal with. We feel irresponsible when we're unable get more truly professional training providers to join us and hence the impact to our site visitors — this is one of the key important factors that influenced the design of our I'mTP 2.0.
Introducing I'mTP 2.0
Population & Competition Control Policy
— “If it's low quantity, it has to be high quality.”
But besides fulfilling our own desires, sometimes, we've to think to ourselves whether our desire is also fair to others and for the good of others. For example, we always asked: "How can we get just enough members to sustain our own business without having to hire more expensive and qualified staffs or to invest on expensive database and web server hostings to maintain huge amount of web contents submitted by large number of members?" By having this question as one of our business goals, it also helped us to realize that this idea is in fact good for both our members and site visitors in the following synergetic ways:
- The less members, the less competitors to our members.
- The less competitors, the higher sales conversion to our members.
- The less members, the less overwhelming of available courses of the same or similar topics.
- The less overwhelming of available courses, the less confusions to our site visitors and easier to search.
“When the whole world is having a same kind of competitive advantage, it's no longer a 'competitive advantage' but purely just a common tool with marketing propaganda illusion. You just can't say you've gained an exceptional competitive advantage by having Google Chrome browser when the whole world can also have it for free! If not too many and not too little, what should be the ideal number of members that we should limit to? Finally, we decided to limit to 10 slots for each training category where each member may occupy more than one slot depending on their number of specializations. As such, 10 slots on each category for the total of 5 categories will never end up with 50 training providers but less, probably 20 to 30. For 20 to 30 training providers competing on MalaysiaTraining.net is still far better than having hundreds or even thousands of training providers competing in the real-world market. As we understand from certain large corporations and government agencies, some of their purchasing systems require at least 5 quotations from different vendors in order for their purchasing requisition to be approved. If this is the case, 10 training providers of the similar type of training category should be more than sufficient to meet such training consumers' requirements.
Only by doing this, then only our I'mTP services can be considered as a true competitive advantage to our members. When the whole world is having a same kind of competitive advantage, it's no longer a 'competitive advantage' but purely just a common tool with marketing propaganda illusion. You just can't say you've gained an exceptional competitive advantage by having Google Chrome browser when the whole world can also have it for free! You can find out more about our Population & Competition Control Policy from our newly designed landing page under Benefits - 4. Increase ROI & Profits - 3. Enjoy durable competitive advantage with our Population & Competition Control Policy!
Of course, we've more other exciting great stuffs to offer than just our Population & Competition Control Policy of which they have also been well-written on our new landing page. Feel free to explore it further to discover the great essence of I'mTP 2.0!
The whole new I'mTP 2.0 landing page
— “Tab Matrix Browsing with Intelli-Scroll Feature”
One of the most exciting aspects of I'mTP 2.0 is the design of its entirely new landing page that introduces a whole new content browsing experience called Tab Matrix Browsing with Intelli-Scroll Feature. It consists of several horizontal top-tabs with each top-tab comprises of sequentially arranged side-tabs in a vertical order. In addition, the big numbering label on each side-tab makes its recommended flow of reading even more intuitive and self-explanatory.
The following sections explain the functionality of each control, labeled with red alphabet box that corresponds to screenshot shown on the left.
Selected Top-tab
The first top-tab is the default selected tab. Only one top-tab can be selected at a time. Selected top-tab will be emphasized with clear colour and a thick red horizontal bar on top of it. A selected top-tab will always have one and only one side-tab selected at a time.
Unselected Top-tab
Unselected top-tabs are dark in colour with a thick light gray horizontal bar on top of it. When mouse-overed, the light gray horizontal bar will turn into red colour. Clicking on it will turn it into clear colour and auto-scroll it to the top of the browser so that the viewable content area can be maximized. The previously selected top-tab will be automatically unselected.
Selected Side-tab
The first side-tab labeled 1 will always be the default selected tab each time a top-tab is selected. Selected side-tab will be emphasized with clear background colour and a thick red vertical bar on its left. When different side-tab is selected and the user later navigates to another top-tab, returning back to the same top-tab will have its previously selected side-tab preserved so that the users can remember where they stopped. For example, if you're currently viewing 3. Keep Your Customers Coming Back under the Benefits top-tab, clicking on Plans & Pricing top-tab and come back to Benefits again will have 3. Keep Your Customers Coming Back remain selected.
Unselected Side-tab
Unselected side-tabs are light gray in color with a thick darker vertical bar on its left. When mouse-overed, the colours will turn into a darker gray scale. Clicking on it will auto-scroll to the top of its tab content so that the viewable content area can be maximized.
Guided Coordinate Jumping Button
This special red colour button usually appears at the bottom of each tab content. It acts as a guidance to the users by leading them to the next recommended location within the entire tab matrix. It is capable of jumping to a specific coordinated location for a right content based on certain context, e.g. leading you to the next tab content when you've finished reading the current one or leading you to the Final Q&A Test when trying to access membership application form without passing the test.
What does I'mTP 2.0 mean to you?
— “Prove our worth to help others to prove their worth.”
In the training industry in general and corporate training in particular, equipping ourselves with highly noticeable professional image is utmost importance. We just can't sell something that we don't have even though we're just the sales persons who sell training but not the trainers themselves. Failing to prove our professionalism in the corporate training business simply means: "I don't have any professionalism to sell it to you!" This is why in I'mTP 2.0, not only we strive to improve our professional image to the community, we in turn sharing our professional achievements with our members in helping them to express the way they always wanted to.
In addition, by passing through our Application Requirement Checklist and Final Q&A Test, this will further enhance your industry status and reflect your professionalism to the training consumers, whether directly or indirectly. As we expose our memnber selection criteria and conditions to the public, we also help those who have successfully become our members to prove their professionalism. When one day, people began to say: "They're the member of MalaysiaTraining.net, that should be fine", this marked the ultimate success of you and me.
