Introduction
- Companies spend millions of dollars and yet they can't get the desired outcome for change. How come?
- Most people resume to old ways as they don't see the need to do things differently. How can we ensure this won't happen?
- What are the common mistakes made by companies to transform?
"The pressures on organizations to change will only increase over the next decade. Yet the methods managers have used in the attempt to transform their companies into stronger competitors - total quality management, re-engineering, right sizing, restructuring, cultural change and turnarounds - routinely fall short, because they fail to alter behavior," says John P. Kotter, renowned author and guru of Leadership and Change Management.
For change to happen, it must work in 2 prongs i.e. the individuals and the organization. The individual must see the need and work from within that he / she wants to change whilst the organization must provide the methodology to make change conducive.
Based on 2 renowned books "Our Iceberg is Melting" and "Lessons from the Monkey King", the program provides the framework from the organization perspective on the steps to do and people management from the psychology perspective. This program is a must for organizations that embrace and lead change with the mind-set necessary to ensure future success.
