Warehouses are often under-rated operations in many organisations, yet these operations are essential in providing the superior customer service needed to ensure uninterrupted exploration and production and/or to satisfy the demand from customers/users. The purpose of this course is to introduce all of the essential tools for the effective management of warehousing, to show how to evaluate procedures, enable changes to be made and finally, to improve methods by eliminating wasteful activities and excess costs whilst delivering improved service.
The course is presented in a highly interactive format. The trainer is fully experienced in the subject matter, has hands on experience of planning and managing warehouses. The trainer will keep delegates engaged via real life examples and interactive discussions. Case studies, discussions and syndicate sessions will ensure that the course content is both engaging and interesting. Supporting materials include a comprehensive manual and hand-outs.
